Join Sala Diaz as we welcome Casa Chuck Resident Andrea Aceves to San Antonio!

Andrea Aceves is a Mexican writer and multidisciplinary artist from Guadalajara, Jalisco. She studied Cinematography at ITESO and develops her practice across writing, visual arts, and music. Her work explores identity, love, loss, and the invisible dimensions of experience—what is not always “known” but felt as spiritual or paranormal presence. Rooted in storytelling as a way of healing, her projects focus on female empowerment, mental health, and the search for transformation. Through her art, she seeks to connect body, soul, and spirit, weaving memory into collective reflection. During her residency at Casa Chuck, she hopes to expand this dialogue and explore new ways of engaging with community through writing and art.
